I'm leaving youuuu.....

This week Carli and I are taking a trip to my mom-mom's in Philly. We're going to spend some time with her and my aunt! This will be our fourth year doing this and we are both really looking forward to it. There will be lots of pictures. I also have a lot of posts about summer when I come back, so keep watching for them. :)

Visit to the Beach

This past week, me, Carli, and my mom headed down to Bethany Beach to spend some time with my Uncle's family. It was a whole lot of fun. We got to spend some time with my cousin's younger boys, got attacked by them a couple hundred times, spent time on the beach, went for ice cream, and a whole lot more fun stuff! Seeing as though they live over 2 hours away, we don't get to see them much, so it was just fun hanging out together. The water was freezing, but definitely refreshing. I can't wait to go at the end of the month!

Unfortunately I didn't get to take many pictures, and I forgot to take my camera to the beach :(. Yes, sad I know.

                               

why i love summer

I love summer for so many reasons. But, the tan just has to be one of my faves!

                                 look at me!!! aaaaggghhhh. too pale. hahaha, NO FOR REAL.

 i don't know what you think, but i surely think I look much better about 5 shades darker. It makes me feel, oh I don't know....black.

New Post?

I believe I need to put up a new post. It's been almost a month. Well, time definitely flies when you'r having fun. :) But, I promise to do one in the next week.

it's the fourth of july. celebrated by going to my uncles sat.  then with my family all day yesterday, and now about to go to the Miranda's for a little picnic. great weekend:).

All Week Long....

All week I have been and will be taking care of her. She is huge! At first she can be a little awkward, but her personality grows on you. It is so funny to watch her and Sterling interact because she is so much taller than him. She can literally walk over top of him and has done it a couple times.

Art from the Heart

A couple weeks ago I got an idea for a canvas to make for when Carli and I move into a different room. I just finally finished it today. It will be a constant reminder of the one who is always there even when we don't feel it. Which is how I've been feeling a lot lately, so this painting is like a small encouragement.

Beat the Heat.... {the fun way}

                Just a few thing we've done and you can do to stay cool in this amazing weather.

1. Run through a sprinkler with your clothes on. If you feel a little crazy doing this as a teenager, grab a younger sibiling. We did it with some younger kids from church after a cookout on Sunday.

2. Wash your parents car. It's a great way to serve them, but have an excuse to go crazy with the hose.

3. Start a random water fight or water ballon fight. Water balloons make it way funner.

4. Put your swimsuit on, grab a sprinkler and put it under your trampoline. We actually did this with Moriah the other, day it was super duper fun!

5. Walk or drive to a local gas staton and get a slushey. we legit do this like every day.

6. Go to a pool, and then call me and invite me! :) I haven't been swimming yet this year. *hint-hint*

This Summer

Some things I kinda feel like I need for summer, or want.

                   I just saw these the other day at Old Navy. And, I love them. Cute, simple and fun!

Spring

Sorry for not posting in like two weeks. I've really wanted to, but just been at a loss for what to do. I finally came up with something.

The past couple days we have been blessed with some beautiful weather, definitely shorts and flip-flop kind of weather. Which is wonderful, a nice change from all the rain. Yesterday I got the chance to steal Moriah's camera and take a couple "springy" shots.

            This tree is in our front yard, I absolutely LOVE when it blooms, it is soooo pretty :)

Ok, so I just want to apologize for the lack of posting on this blog. I honestly just don't know what has gotten into me. Besides the fact that I have been busy with school and track, wow, I don't know how just two things can keep one person soooo busy. But, by the time I get home at night, believe me, the last thing I want to do is post on my blog. :(

Also, lately I just feel like I have nothing to post. But, don't worry, I will come up with something. I might try to start like a weekly thing I do on here. I know! I should do "What I Wore Wednesday" teens can do that to right??{Do you guys even know what that is?} Too bad I don't have kids to post about, oh wait, I do, Carli. Uh-Oh, I hope she doesn't read this.

NC with the Bookers- part 1

Ok, so this has been a loooonnnnggg time coming, but I am finally putting up pics from my stay in NC. So sorry, I have been busy with other stuff, and have been slacking on posting these and other things. But, I am motivated to get back on track. I have been back for over 2 weeks now, I had a great time with them though. It definitely gave me a greater appreciation for my big sis to see what she has to do everyday, I don't think I'd be able to have that many kids hanging all over me all the time. For me a week was plenty.  I tried to get Moriah to let me take her camera... but, surprise surprise, she said no. So, these pics aren't the best quality, but they still captured these kids abounding adorableness.
