Back When

Looking through some random pics and came across these. This was carli and I's 13th b-day party. Not to long ago, but I feel like almost all of us look soooo much younger. What do you think?

Barely Remember

This is a super duper random post. I was just thinking about my curly long locks :P today. Well, actually these days they are not so long or even curly. But, I do have a faint memory of the days when my hair touched my shouders and I could pull it up into an acceptable messy bun way up at the top of my head, instead of at the nape of my neck. *whimper* Man, how I miss those days. Now, I'm lucky if I ever do anything other than a ponytail. Well, that's the price you pay for getting your hair chopped off. I tell my self it was a good lesson (while I try not to cry about the absence of hair). It will be a year in December and thank goodness it is slowly, but surely growing back, it may take another year until I have the long look back, but oh well, who needs that when you got a bob?!  :D. me.

Yeah, it's sad, but thank God it will grow back and I will have my messy bun back.

Too Fast to Fall

So, I am sitting here writing this and out of the corner of my eye I can see the flicker of the flames from our pellet stove. And although I am definitely happy to be warm, I almost don't want to have to use that stove yet and wish I could just rewind back to when it was HOT enough to wear shorts and a tank and not look like a lunatic. I mean it is hard to believe that we are almost 2 months into school. And my cross country season is over, though i have to admit, I am pretty happy about that. It is crazy!! But, a good and bad crazy.  

I was looking through some pics I took of Car this summer and was transported back to that time (that is where this entry idea started), even though looking at the pictures doesn't put me  back in August  (oh well), I thought they were too good to not do something with. And, don't get too jealous of her prettifulness!! :P

After some begging(not much) my parents surprised Carli and I with a new cat when we got home from the beach in September. He is sooo cute, his name is Dexter. He loves playing with sterling and getting into all sorts of trouble around the house!! It is soooo nice to have a cat once again

                                          

Road Trip

IT has been WAY to long since I have done a post, my mom is not too happy. ;) So, here I am finally doing one!
  Last Wednesday me, my mom, dad, and carli all left for Nashville, TN. mmm-hmm it was a long trip, right around 13 hours. And, my dad did practically all the driving, good for him. Our purpose for going there was for my cousin's wedding. Since we were going soo far we decided it wasn't worth it to stay for just one or two days. So, we got there Thurs. and left to come home Mon. morning. It was a good trip overall. But, we will never do an out-of-state wedding again. And we are all very very happy to be home! :D

by the time they got there it was almost dark and pictures from here on out were pretty low quality.

they had a rooftop reception right in the heart of Nashville, so looking down this is what you saw

we got there at 3 in the afternoon and left around  midnight, so by the end of the night we were all beat.

                                        we had to do something in the hotel room!!!!
