Fun in the Sun

This past week Carli and I had a great trip to Bethany Beach with the Kings and the Howells. It was their 5th year going together, and our second going with them. It was sooo much fun. We both serve the families, but it is an added bonus to get to go to the beach with them. The house we stay at has quick and easy access to the beach, so we spent most of our time there. In total, there were 15 people, 6 adults (if you count me and Carli) and 9 kids under the age of 8. So, it was a very interesting and rowdy time. But, it was definitely fun and I am so grateful to have this experience and opportunity!!

Just Got to Say...

After more than a year..........

I finally got my braces off!!!! Hip-hip- hooray!! So, excited. Now, i can eat carmel, popcorn,gum, and all sorts of other stuff! It's great. 

Baptism

On Sunday, Carli and I both got baptized. It was a wonderful time. We have both been wanting to do it for a few years now, and finally decided it was the right time to seal the deal. I was a little nervous only because I am not a great public speaker and hadn't even considered what I was going to say. But, all in all every thing went well and I am finally baptized!!

                          

Bethany Beach

The first week of August my fam - Bry went to Bethany Beach, DE for a week. Overall, it was a really great trip. Most of us love the beach and have been going to Bethany since we were all very little. Last year the trip kind of got ruined with my dad getting really sick and him, my mom, and Riah having to leave early, so this year we were glad to not have any of that. This was the second year that Kurt and Barbara Weaver were down the same week as us, so we spent some time with them. Torria was also with them, so we took Barbara and Torria to the beach with us a few days. It was great to have them there!!

New at this

This is my first post on my blog. I've actually been thinking about getting one for a while, but it took my mom giving it to me as a school assignment to finally do it! I'm really excited about it. I will use this as a place to share things that go on in my daily life and since I love taking pics I will probably post some of those time to time. I don't know how often I'll write but at least once or twice a week, hopefully. Summer is quickly ending :( Well, it ends in September, but we all know that summer really ends when we have to go back to school, which I am not really looking forward to. These past two weeks have been really busy. First my family went on vaca at Bethany Beach, and last week Carli and I spent a week at my Mom-mom's in Philly. It was all a lot of fun!! I might post some pics from that. Well, that's it for now!
